guest bathroom in east sussex...the clients wanted the bathroom to be given a complete overhaul; the existing bath with shower over replaced with a large walk-in shower enclosure, a large towel warmer incorporated for drying towels and shelved storage provided for accessories.
the room was fairly dark as the only (small) window looked onto the adjoining property and had obscured glass. so in order to make the most of the available light and space we incorporated a huge wall-to-wall mirror, warm limestone tiles in a honed finish on both the walls and floor and glass mosaic tiles as an accent. a huge walk-in shower with floor to ceiling glass screen, low level shower tray and clear perspex foldaway shower seat replaced the bath, and alcoves with glass shelving built into the half-height boxing-in behind the toilet and basin provided storage for towels and accessories.
lastly, the walls were painted pale green to complement the glass mosaic tiles and new waterproof downlighters were added above the shower and basin.
